Making Faces - bold faces and strong expressions

The essence of individualism is the face and how it expresses personality.

Making Faces creates unique people pictures that will be distinctive for years to come.

Making Faces has been developed by Colin Probst. He has been taking pictures of people for over 40 years - initially as a photojournalist and now in his own unique style with Making Faces.

He has photographed many famous faces over the years including Alfred Hitchcock, Sir Edmund Hillary, Ena Sharples and many others.

Colin realised that portraits are important to families yet there seemed too many obstacles for most people to get really unique pictures of the ones they loved. Getting a portrait “done” was too much like a painful experience.

He now provides Making Faces - a fun filled experience that ends up with exciting, spontaneous pictures that truly capture the real YOU.

New Studio now at 31 Finlayson Street, Whangarei
